My work is strongly rooted in figurative subjects in stylized playful textural environments-expanding into life size scale that takes hold of the viewer. Recurring themes are traditional Hispanic color schemes with reimagined familiar environments in juxtaposed compositions. I challenge the viewers attention in looking beyond the real and familiar- to reimagine the familiar into different relationships in expressing new meaning.
