Description:
This piece reflects back on a time when I once thought that for love to be real, it had to be delusional. That passion felt like mania and a few moments of warm sun were worth all of the storms of anxiety and fear. Shortly thereafter, I found love that was safe and steady. It never caused me to wonder where I stood and it carried me when I couldn’t carry myself. Sometimes moving through life lends us to look back through the windows of past love. We get a glimpse of what might have been, but knowing through the windows of this love is home.
